Overview

On behalf of our client in the ICT industry, we are looking to fill the role of pre-sales engineer. As a presales engineer, your main responsibility will be to help customers understand the value of our client’s products and services. To achieve this you need a deep understanding of their product and all its features, the underlying technology, their customers’ needs, and market developments including competing products.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver product demonstrations to potential customers to show how to solve their problems and meet their requirements.
  • Understand, help develop, and deliver ROI and business cases
  • Attending conferences, working with Subject Matter Experts, and researching to stay on top of changes in business issues/requirements /Technology and understand where the market is going.
  • Coordinate requirements for proofs of concept with Product Management/Product Development
  • Must be willing to travel to client sites (limited basis)
  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise to customers to design a solution
  • Identify appropriate products and services to meet the full range of customer needs
  • Actively work with Sales Specialist to follow sales plan and meet sales objectives
  • Understand product and technology roadmaps to deliver recommendations for CCC customers and manage transitions
  • Takes responsibility for the functional and technical architecture of Open Source solutions to design and assist in the delivery of complex technology solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Experience in data-related solutions and integration of other systems via APIs

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical solutions concisely and to interact with users and decision-makers

  • Passion for diving into technical issues and solving customer problems

  • Ability to learn new concepts, technologies, and solve problems

  • Knowledge of programming languages

  • Ability to work on multiple opportunities & POCs concurrently

  • 3 + years experience in Pre-Sales Software
