Job Mission | The purpose of this role is to operate and manage stores. |
Position Objective & Responsibilities | · Oversee daily material issues, usage, inward and outward movement of store items
· Maintain a system of creating GRN, inward, outward system-based documentation for all individuals that request material from stores · Provide daily reports of moving stock to management with itemized values of goods · Monthly physical stock taking, cleaning of stores, and tallying/identification of dead stock · Understand product variances, product specifications, and product uses according to machines and plant machinery to ensure efficient usage · Communicate with all HOD to ensure wastage is minimized and overall stocking is maintained · Control the re-order level of all integral parts in the store and communicate with head office for procurement · Communicate with HOD to create monthly requirements of materials for plant, machinery, etc., and pre-order to ensure no downtime or emergency purchases · Maintain online inventory system with barcode scanning to ensure accurate data entry and stocking of material · Cross-checking stores to ensure accurate tallying of daily output |
Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree |
Experience | Minimum 5 years experience in logistics management |
