Overview

We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to join and lead our Client’s Human Resources department. Senior HR Manager responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies, and setting objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape our client’s employer brand strategy. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with HR technology, including payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.

Ultimately, you will ensure our client attracts, hires, develops, and retains qualified employees.

Responsibilities

A senior HR manager is expected to:

  • Supervise and instruct the whole HR team
  • Ensure whether the organization’s objectives and goals are being followed or not
  • Work on the development of company policies and strategies that help in creating and building a better environment for employees to work
  • Handle employee complaints and addresses them with unique strategies and solutions for such challenges
  • Suggest changes and improvements for the better functioning and productivity of the HR department
  • Works to arrange tours and interesting interactive sessions to onboard the employees
  • Conduct employee orientations to familiarize them with the company’s ethics and culture
  • Directly supervise the employee talent acquisition processes to ensure they hire the best fit for the company’s needs
  • Ensure a healthy work environment by conducting interesting and fun sessions like events to engage the employees more
  • Observe and analyze the performance metrics, and use the data in strategy and policy development
  • Organize the employee training and learning programs
  • Decide the budget for HR processes
  • Provide time-to-time feedback to employees on their performance
  • Ensures that both the department and employees comply with the company’s policies and state-level rules and regulations

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human resources or business management
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR manager or senior HR generalist
  • Excellent employee management skills
  • Exposure in the Transport and Logistics field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified human resource professional with a specialization in people management or a relevant field
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with human resource management systems like Applicant Tracking Systems, Performance Management Systems, or Payroll Systems
  • Proven experience in contributing toward establishing safer and healthier work environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of legal policies and labor laws
  • Complete know-how of talent acquisition programs, and recruitment processes
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Prior experience as a senior HR manager
  • Ability to develop and maintain healthy employee relations
  • Complete know-how of budget management and employee compensation plans
